Barbara “Sis” Durham, 81, died Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Health Center, Corinth, MS. She was born May 18, 1937 in Tishomingo, MS and was retired as a jewelry department manager with Wal-Mart. She was of the Church of Christ faith.
Services will be Sunday, June 24, 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Jonathan Whitten officiating. Burial will be in Tishomingo City Cemetery, Tishomingo, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are two daughters – Kim Carr (Tim) and Michelle Whitten (Frank), all of Tishomingo, MS; six grandchildren – Candace Mahan (Jeff), Stacy Green (Terry), Tracy Jones (J.J.), Dustin Creekmore (Olivia), Nikki Scott (Corey) and Lauren Bean (Thomas); twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and one sister – Anita McRae, Tishomingo, MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dayton Waldrep McRae and Mary Margaret Terry McRae, her husband, Charles Ray Durham, a daughter, Bobbi Roddy and a brother, Donald McRae.
Pallbearers will be Corey Scott, Dustin Creekmore, Thomas Bean, Frank Whitten, Tim Carr and James Jones.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 24, 1-3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
