Barbara Peirce Radde Barbara Peirce Radde peacefully passed away on January 12, 2021, after a brief illness. She was born on May 18, 1942, in South Bend, Indiana, lived in several towns in Michigan, and moved to Huntsville in 1978 with her husband, Jerry, and children.

Barb and Jerry owned and operated Cottage Craft Frames for nearly 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her customers and friends, and she especially loved being with her family. Through the years she also enjoyed her bridge club, tennis group, volunteering with Child and Family Services of Michigan, beginning work as a commissioner of Berrien County, Michigan, du Midi friends, serving as a board member of her condo association, and recently serving as a deacon of Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Barb is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jerry, her parents, Andrew Peirce and Jane Peirce (Healy), and her brother, Robert Peirce.
She will be terribly missed by her daughter, Betsy (Sparks) Ford; son, Christopher Radde; four grandchildren; Tripp (Mary Ruth) Ford, Palmer Ford, Jane Claire Radde, and Preston Radde; sister, Marcia(Timothy) Snyder of Helena, Montana; and her nieces and nephews.

A private Celebration of Life will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church (301 Drake Avenue, Huntsville, AL, 35802) or A New Leash on Life (707 Andrew Jackson Way, Huntsville, AL, 35801).
