Barbara Nan Canup, 87, Harvest, Alabama, passed away Thursday at her home with her family around her.
Barbara was born on September 30, 1936, to the late Lawrence Durham and Donie Raby Durham. She has been a Harvest resident all her life and was a member of Sardis Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 52 years, David B. Canup; and sister, Joyce D. Benefield.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Shaun) Baker; and two grandchildren, Skylar and Brooke Baker.
A visitation will be held for Mrs. Canup on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Sardis Springs Baptist Church from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM. A service will follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Tuck Cemetery, Harvest, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the Sardis Springs Church Building Fund and/or Hospice of North Alabama.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
