Barbara Lou Stratton, age 71 of Estill Springs, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Tri-Star Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. She was born in Harvey, Illinois on May 4, 1953, to the late Howard and Bessie (Henderson) Jensen. Before her retirement, she had been employed as a cashier at Wal-Mart for over fifteen years. In her spare time, Barbara enjoyed shopping, tending to her flowers, and cooking, especially during the holidays. But most of all, she cherished the time spent with her beloved family. Her caring and loving nature will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a member of Grace Community Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Jensen; nephew, Russell “Little Russell” Jensen; nieces, Elaine Jensen and Elizabeth Sanders; and former husband, Roy Leon Tucker Sr. Barbara is survived by her loving children, Michelle Tucker (Jake Shutters), Roy Leon Tucker Jr, and Raymond Lee Tucker; sisters, Darlene Miller, Loretta (Randy) Wall, and Maureen DeLauriea; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro.
