Barbara L. Boyette of Pocahontas, TN was born November 3, 1929 in Hardeman County, TN the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Foster Allen. She was the widow of J. O. Boyette.
Mrs. Boyette was a member of the Gooch church of Christ. She was a homemaker and worked for Levi Strauss Company in Ramer, TN from 1967 until the plant closed. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She departed this life on December 17, 2015 in Selmer, TN at the age of 86 Years, 1 Month, 14 Days.
Survivors are five sons, James Boyette and wife Beth of Pocahontas, TN, Rickey Boyette and wife Louise of Pocahontas, TN, Jeff Boyette and wife Roxanna of Pocahontas, TN, Jerry Boyette and wife Vickie of Pocahontas, TN, Glenn Boyette and wife Wanda of Zachary, LA; fourteen grandchildren, Jimmi Gaspard, David Johnson, James Boyette Jr., Timothy Boyette, Jamie Boyette, William Boyette, Andrew Boyette, Rebekah Lowrie, Lea Anna Mayo, Benjamin Boyette, John Boyette, Chelsea Boyette, Christopher Boyette, Daniel Boyette; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary (Polly) Salassi of Rogers Springs, TN, Lorine Brown of Memphis, TN and a host of extended family and friends.
