Barbara Juanita Stubblefield, 85 of Elkmont, passed away on Monday, September 23rd, 2024, at her residence. Mrs. Stubblefield was born on June 28th, 1939, in Winchester, Tennessee, to James Alex Morris and Nellie Modema Stephens Morris.
Mrs. Stubblefield is survived by her sons Bruce Stubblefield, Jimmy Stubblefield, and Teddy Stubblefield (Amelia); daughters Marilyn Wessler (Stanley), and Jeannie Dillard (Shane); grandchildren TJ Stubblefield, Hunter Stubblefield (Mckenzie), Lexie Stubblefield, and Olivia Wessler; great grandchildren Bo Stubblefield, Dierks Stubblefield and Rhodes Stubblefield; step grandchildren: Chase Summers (Ashley), Wesley Summers, Daniel Smith (Lyndsey), and Derica Johnson (Jacob); step great grandchildren Samantha Summers, Brantley Johnson, Kip Johnson, Maddie Kate Johnson, Lane Smith, Braxton Smith, and Sawyer Smith; sisters Leona Hobbs, Fannie Bolden, Linda Little, Glenda Taylor, and Geneva Robinson; and brothers Truman Morris, Buck Morris, and James Morris.
She is preceded in death by her husband Marlin “Marvin” Stubblefield; parents James and Nellie Morris; brothers A.J. Morris, Whitt Morris, Kenneth Morris, and Norman Morris; and half-siblings Amy Cox, Buford Morris, and Dennis Morris.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be at Hodges Cemetery.
Mrs. Stubblefield enjoyed cooking, flowers, quilting, as well as outdoor activities including fishing, camping and especially turkey hunting!
