Barbara Jane Strickland age 83, passed from this life Saturday, October 14, 2023 at North Alabama Medical Center.
She lived her entire life in Franklin County and was a member of North Highlands Church of Christ.
Barbara was a beloved and devoted wife to Glen Strickland for 65 wonderful years. She was a loving mother to her daughters, Donna and Cynthia. She enjoyed cooking and did it very well.
Survivors include husband, Glen Strickland; children, Donna Barksdale (Alan), Cynthia Fennel (Floyd); grandchildren, Alison Montanaro (Tony), Jennifer Groce (Terrell), Kimberly Massey (Torey), Will Barksdale (Jorden), Laura Akin (Cullen); great-grandchildren, Alexia Groce, Sebastian Tucker Tristan Groce, Lincoln Massey, Jackson Montanaro, Eliza Akin, Emerson Akin, Alaina Montanaro, Ava Massey and Barrett Barksdale; brothers, Tommy Epperson (Pat), Jody Epperson (Carolyn); sister-in-law, Linda Epperson.
A host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends that will miss her beautiful energetic smile.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville. Funeral service will be Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.
She was preceded in death by parents, Lonnie and Gladys Epperson; brother, Don Epperson.
