Barbara J. Wise, 79 of Dora, passed away on Wednesday November 17, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Wise was a retired school teacher. She taught at Dora Junior High School, T.S. Boyd School and Sumiton Elementary/Middle School. She was a member of Dora Church of God and attended Sumiton Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her son, William Russell Wise; parents, Morris and Irene Ritch and brothers, Billy, Steve and Tommy Ritch.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Alvin Wise; sons, Scott Wise (Patsy) and Jamie Wise (Kazuka); grandchildren, Jaxson, Jeremy and Kristen; great grandchildren, Madelyn, Levi, McKenzie, Wyatt and Weston; siblings, Brenda, Carolyn, Kenneth and Michael; several other relatives and many friends.
