Barbara Gail Mitchell, age 78, of Tuscumbia, died Sunday September 27, 2015.
Gail’s family will receive friends Tuesday, 1-2 p.m. at Valdosta Church of Christ, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow in the church sanctuary with Ed White officiating. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.
Gail was a native of Sylacauga, AL and a member of Valdosta Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her brother; Dewey Littleton Jr. and sister; Sara Jo Daniels.
She is survived by her husband, G. W. Mitchell; sons, Billy K. Mitchell (Pat) of Russellville, and Larry Barton Mitchell (Loretta) of Madison; daughter, Belinda Gail Mitchell Wright(Roger) of Huntsville; brother, Bobby Littleton of Fairhope; sister, Violet Littleton of Pensacola, FL, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Andrew Mitchell, Mitch Mitchell, Mitchell Wright, Kyle Wright, Trey Wright, Erik Waddell, Will Akins and Sam Sherertz.
Honorary Pallbearers are Elders and Deacons of Valdosta Church of Christ.
Memorials may be made to Valdosta Church of Christ or the American Heart Association.
