Barbara Gail Hood, age 70, Haleyville, AL. passed away November 24, 2017. She was a member of Waldrop Freewill Baptist Church.
Her visitation will be Sunday November 26, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Funeral service Monday November 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel, with Bro. Hugh Cavender and Bro. Jeff Boyles officiating. Burial to follow in Littleville Cemetery.
Barbara is survived by children, Byron Michael Hood, Brandy La’Shae Davis (Jason) and Billy Hood (Alicia); sisters, Carolyn Brown and Tommie Sue Pearson (Jerry); brother, Robert Wilson (Shelia); sister in laws, Lola Hannah and Shelby Hicks; grandchildren, Courtni BreAnn Gann (Josh), Caydon Blake Davis, Will Hood, Kiana Hood, Aubrey Phillips, Trip Hood and Charles Hood; honorary MiMi to Gunner Dayton Jett; special family friends, Amanda Whitman, Sandy Oliver and Linda Scruggs.
She was preceded in death by parents, John K. and Rachel Lucille James Wilson; sisters, Jimmie Lou Smith and Johnene Pogue; nieces, Hannah Bridgmon and LeNae Wilson; father in law and mother in law, J.C. and Ella Dean Hood; father of her children, Billie Charles Hood.
