Barbara Gail Emerson, 77, died Monday, September 2, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Marion County, AL to M.E. Emerson and Evelyn Louise Wilson Emerson and was a member of Shottsville Methodist Church.
Services will be Saturday, September 7, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Brian Bridges and Marshall Emerson officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Burial will be in Shottsville Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her brother, V.H. Emerson (Geraldine) and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Jimmy Emerson, Douglas Emerson and Wilson Emerson.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Montgomery, Dewayne Emerson, Joseph Emerson, Bradley Emerson and Dakota Emerson.
