Funeral Service for Barbara Dial Wood, age 63, of Decatur, will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 12:00PM at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Berry officiating. Visitation will be 10:00AM to 12:00PM prior to the service. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Cullman, Alabama.
She was born June 14, 1960 to James King Dial and Zelma Alexander Dial in Decatur Alabama.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Wayne Buttram, Sam Dial, Evett Dial, and Mike Dial, father and mother-in-law, Morris and Jean Wood, and brother-in-law, Barry Wood.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Tyler Wood, son, Joshua Wood, and two sisters, Pam Dial Campbell (John), and Patsy Dial Dougherty (Jerry).
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and she was loved by many. She was faithful to God, First Baptist Church Austinville, and activities at the church.
