Barbara Dale Parker, age 73, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Tuesday, December 05, 2023, at Cottage of the Shoals Nursing & Rehab Center.
Barbara loved to read and enjoyed watching old westerns on TV. She was very loving, very honest, and did not hesitate to tell you how she felt about things.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Parker; father, Delbert Cooley; mother, Geraldine Howard Clemmons; brother, Mark Cooley; and sister, Pam Renee McNatt.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Melody Emerson (Kevin), Doug Parker, Tracie Parker, Kevin Parker; grandchildren, Joey Smith (Carolyn), Alishua Rikard (Tyler), Cheyenne Hampton (Josh), Cory Goins, Zachary Goins (Indira); 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Kerry Cooley, Dennis Cooley; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will have a graveside service for Mrs. Parker at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 07, 2023, at Antioch Cemetery, Waterloo Road, Russellville. Bro. Roger Bond will officiate the service.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Cottage of the Shoals for your care and to Siloam Baptist Church for ministering to her as a widow. Also thank you to Bro. Roger & Peggy Bond, and the many friends for your thoughts, prayers, and visits.
