Barbara Clayton Sharritt, 69 of Warrior, passed away Dec. 5, 2023 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Sharritt; her parents, Mel and Cricket Clayton and her brother, Jerry Clayton.
She is survived by her daughter, Jenny “Penny” Shipp and husband T.J.; her son, Robert Sharritt; her siblings, Frances Pate, Billy Clayton, Judy Overton and husband Ron, Walter Clayton and Tommy Clayton and wife Jane; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Friday Dec. 8, 23 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Pastor Keith Brakefield will officiate. Burial will follow in McCormack Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening 5:30-8 pm at the funeral home.
