Barbara Carolyn Watts Tidwell, was born on November 9, 1945. She graduated from Haleyville High School in 1963. She spent over twenty years each working at Haleyville Textile and Winston Furniture.
Barbara had her own tax business where she got to know people and do taxes. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing and hearing the word preached.
Visitation will be held at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church (King School House) in Natural Bridge on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm where services will begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will be held at Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Brother Steve Miles will officiate.
Barbara is survived by her son, Donnie Tidwell; sister, Betty (Wayne) Horton; brother, Glenn (Patricia) Watts; and a host of family and friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Tidwell; her parents, Layton and Florene Watts; step mother, Myrtle Watts; brother, Donnie Watts; and niece, Jan Horton.
