Funeral service for Barbara Blackwell Eaton, 82, will be Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Hal Daigre and Rev. Emily Moore officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Fuller Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 5, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Eaton died on Monday, January 1, 2024 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 8, 1941, in Oklahoma, to Sidney Scott Engle and Grace Nellie Johnson Engle.
She was a member of Connect Church, loved Gospel singing, had a heart for missions and making dresses for children. She was active doing the Church Bulletin and working in the nursery. She enjoyed making quilts, especially baby quilts. She was employed by Compass Bank as a Data Entry Clerk, prior to her retirement.
Preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Blackwell and her second husband, Van Eaton, two Children, Michael Blackwell and Jane Frith and a sister, Sue Daniel.

Carol Merritt (Foy)
Brother – Arley Engle
Sister – Kaye Brown
Eight Grandchildren
Eight Great Grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Ben Roberts, Greg Roberts, Josh Sartin, Damyon Szerszynski, Andrew Frith and George Frith.
