Barbara Arnold Posey

Barbara Arnold Posey, age 84 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away May 6, 2022 at Lakeland Community Hospital. She was a lifelong faithful member of First Baptist Church in Haleyville and a proud member of the Haleyville High School Class of 1955. She enjoyed serving in volunteer roles in her community, had a passion for HHS sports, and sharing many jokes and stories with family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 Noon with Dr. Jim Cooley officiating. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.

Tim Gilbert, Bob Burleson, Tanner Cimo, Mike Boykin, John Arnold, Andrew Crisp and Jason Godsey will serve as pallbearers.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Don Posey; daughters, Janie (Tim) Gilbert and Mary (Bob) Burleson: stepson, Stan (Sandra) Posey; sister in law, Joy Arnold; granddaughter, Perri Leigh (Tanner) Cimo; and step granddaughter, Anna Posey.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Mary Lou Arnold; first husband, Perry Leigh Counts; brother, Gerald Arnold; and stepson, Max Posey.
