A graveside service for Mrs. Barbara Anne Browning Parris will be on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Ashland City Cemetery.
Barbara Anne Browning was born in Millerville, Alabama December 23rd 1934. Her family later moved to Ashland, Alabama where she was raised. After high school she had the opportunity to spend the summer working for the FBI in Washington, D.C. She then enrolled in college where she met Walter Kelly Parris and was married. Barbara had four children, two boys and two girls.
Barbara had a successful career working for the U.S. Army at Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina. She was retired, a homeowner and active in her church.
She is survived by three children, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her son Kenneth B. Parris, his wife Laura A. Parris, and their daughters Melissa (Missy) and Kimberly (KimmiJo); her daughter Karen A. Parris, her daughters Shannon and Christine; daughter Andrea P. Sorrell, her son Andrew and daughter Lisa. Barbara was predeceased by her son Brad C. Parris and survived by his son Brad C. Parris II.
Barbara Browning Parris has continued her journey passing from this world to her next with our lord Jesus on July 13th 2022.
