Barbara Ann Wilson, age 78 of Cowan, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at The Waters of Winchester. She was born in Warren County on December 23, 1944, to the late Louis Paul and Bessie (Graham) Hobbs. A dedicated homemaker, she cherished the time spent with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time, Barbara Ann enjoyed listening to music and watching football, western movies, and NASCAR. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her significant other, Johnny McBee; granddaughter, Ashley Leann Frame; and siblings, William Hobbs, Frances Crim, Becky Floyd, Shirley Boyles, Rita Ward, Emma Barks, Charlotte Bell, Bud Hobbs, Jimmy Hobbs, and Leonard Hobbs. Barbara Ann is survived by her loving children, Lourie (Mark) Frame, Calvin (Anette) Herrin, Keith (Deanna) Herrin, and Cindy (Mark) Thaxton; sisters, Josephine (David) Herrin, Pearl (Ben) Herrin, and Judy (Foster) Turner; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; beloved friend, Harvey Wilson Jr; and special dog, Bella. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro.
