Barbara Ann Wales, 71, of Tanner, AL, passed away Thursday December 14, 2023, at Athens/Limestone Hospital.
Barbara was born July 7, 1952, to the late Vernon McNeese and Clara Mae Ellis McNeese. She lived in this area all her life and was a member of the Tanner Pentecostal Church. She loved all of her family but her great grandchildren were her life, she would buy McDonald’s Happy Meals for the family and loved to work crossword puzzles.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Donna Alvarado.
She is survived by her husband, Jesus Romero, Tanner, AL; daughter, Dana Wales, Tanner, AL; 5 grandchildren, Karla Lopez, Justin (Hannah) Alvarado, Monica Alvarado, Brandon Alvarado and Briana Wales; 3 great grandchildren Easton, Josiah and Gracie; one sister, Jessie M Wales, Ardmore, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, December 18, 2023, from 12:30 to 2:00 PM, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be Monday, December 18,2023 at 2:00 PM at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Ivey officiating. Burial will be at Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
