Barbara Ann Schodroski, 84, of Florence died Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at ECM Hospital.
A Rosary will be Sunday, November 13, 2016, at 7 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a reception in the Parish Hall afterwards for family and friends. Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 2016, 9-11 AM at the church. Mass will follow at 11 AM. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Elkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mrs. Schodroski was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Schodroski.
Mrs. Schodroski was very active in Parish Ministries. For many years she worked with the RCIA Team, Ministry to the sick, Meals on Wheels, Funeral Committee, and was an officer in the K of C Ladies Auxiliary. She truly lived a life of service to Honor God for all His many blessings. She was also an Oblate of St. Bernard.
Mrs. Schodroski is survived by her son, Lawrence Schodroski (Susan); daughters, Deborah Hornbuckle and Elizabeth Fortenberry (Kenneth); sister, Irene Raymond (Fred); grandchildren, Kassia Schodroski, Alina Schodroski, Brittney Fortenberry; Brandon Fortenberry, Thomas Kephart, Barbara Kephart, April Hornbuckle, and Robert Hornbuckle; great-grandchildren, Shyanne Kephart, Benjamin Kephart, James Kephart, Thomas Kephart, Kaylee Kephart, and Keira Nixon.
