Funeral service for Barbara Ann Ryan Gentry age 86 of Somerville will be Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 3:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Michael Mason officiating with burial in the Hartselle Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Gentry, who was born March 5, 1934 in Falkville, Alabama to Ossie Martin Ryan and Arba Louise Harvey Ryan, died on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Hanceville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Gentry and a sister, Mary Wallace.
She is survived by 2 sons, Martin L. Legg and Jay Gentry; 4 daughters, Sandra Ellard, Laurie Legg, Julie Dickerson and Jill Crawford; 1brother, David Ryan; a sister, Jan Morgan and 14 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren.
Jeremiah Engle, Stuart Ryan, Zachariah Legg, Matthew Legg, Jon Austin Tuder and Gary Moorhead will serve as pallbearers.
