Barbara Ann Nix, age 81, of Graysville passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at her residence. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 19, 2023 at Brasfield Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 to 1:00 PM Friday at Bell Sumiton Chapel. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie D. Nix; parents, Louise and Albert Freeman; brother, Ray Freeman; and great grandson, Joseph Clever.
She is survived by her children, Bernice Creel (Greg), Mark Nix and Chris Nix; brothers, Dewayne Freeman (Thelma), Carl Nelson “Peanut” Freeman, Steve Freeman (Shelby), Terry Freeman (Dana) and Philip Freeman; grandchildren, Athena Venable (Josh), Karina Clever (Dallion), Katrina Morgan, Jennifer Siskoff (Jon), Cloe Nix, Angela Nix and ZonLuke Nix; 10 great grandchildren; and a giant host of nieces and nephews.
