Barbara Ann Logue Langley, age 80, of Hendersonville, TN and Panama City Beach, FL passed away December 29, 2018 Born in Maury County. She retired as Director of Legislative Services in 1988 after 31 years of service to the State of Tennessee. She was an avid UT Athletic Supporter for fifty plus years. She was a member of Hendersonville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Alvin E. “Pete” Langley, parents, Harley E. and Estelle Goodwin Logue, and twelve siblings. Survived by, son, James “Tim” Langley; daughter, Kathleene Langley; sister, Joyce (Jimmy) Lovell; grandchildren, Christina (Jonathan) Burke, Matthew (Cherilyn) Langley, Jaime Pare, Sayer (April) Nixon and Lela Catherine Nixon; great-grandchildren, Emma, Hayden & Lena Burke, Garon & Gavin Pare, Beckett, Amelia & Collier Nixon; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be held at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home Monday, December 31, 2018 from 3-5:00PM and two hours prior to the service on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at 1:00PM. Jim Taylor officiating and Sayer Nixon to speak. Logue family nephews will serve as pallbearers and Langley family nephews as Honorary Pallbearers. Burial in Williamson Memorial Gardens.
