Barbara Ann League Maynard, 78, of Hazel Green, passed away on Sunday at home with her loving family.
In the mid-1970’s, Barbara was the co-owner of Foxfire Antiques, a store located in downtown New Market. She loved antiques and would often refinish and sell them. She loved swapping antiques with her friend, Hellan Marshall Jenkins and her sisters. She enjoyed going to auctions and loved Alabama football. Roll Tide!
Ann had retired from the Goodyear Dunlop tire plant in Madison, Alabama in 2003 where she had worked as a tugger operator. After her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Austin & Hazel League; Her brother, Randall League; Sister, Sue Ikard; Brother, Austin League Jr; Brother, Tony League.
Surviving family members include her son, Lee Fogg and his wife, Donni; Her daughter, Angie Fogg Milliner; Her sister, Lynn Stubblefield and her husband, Butch; Her grandchildren: Kristopher Fogg, Morgan Hollaway (Ryan), Zachary Fogg (Taylor), and Cameron Milliner. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 1pm to 3pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will follow at 3:30pm at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Fogg, Ryan Hollaway, Cameron Milliner, James Milliner, Michael Lewis, and Tim Baker.
