Ms. Barbara Ann (Hammonds) Ikard, age 74 of Scottsboro, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at her Residence.
Barbara was born on September 23, 1948 in Alabama to Clarence and Mary Alice Hammonds.
She is survived by daughter, Jayla (Steven) Miller; son, John (Wanda) Ikard Jr.; son, Tommy (Mary) Willis; grandchildren, Lyndsey Miller, Katelyn Pike, Heather Rhyne, Johnnie Lynn Ikard and Amber (Ikard) Walling; her mother, Mary Alice Hammonds; sister, Carol (Sob) Phillips; brother, Larry (Kat) Hammonds; great-grandchildren, Jaylynn Miller, Grayson Miller, Presley Miller, Aria Rhyne, Parker Rhyne; sister-in-law, Scherry Hammonds.
She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Johnny Ikard; father, Clarence Hammonds; grandson, John Crabtree; brothers, Donald Hammonds, Bucky Hammonds and Kevin Hammonds.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Scottsboro Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pace Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
