Barbara Ann Burdette, age 61 of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chattanooga on March 29, 1963, to the late Baxter Jay and Wanda Earlene (Morrison) Burdette. A devoted homemaker, Barbara Ann cared for and raised children for over thirty years. Barbara Ann loved taking care of others and would help anyone. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, as well as fishing, traveling, and tending to her animals. Her family and friends will remember her adventurous spirit, sense of humor, and loving nature. She attended Abundant Life Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Valentine. Barbara Ann is survived by her partner of eighteen years, Jose Joaquin Diaz Torres “Pachy”; children, Madeline Rodas Dominguez, and Louise Rodas Dominguez; sisters, Rebecca “Becky” (Pete) Bauerle, and Teresa “Terry” (Robert “Bob”) Wyatt; children, Luis Reyes, Marcos Reyes, Julian Vazquez, Fany Reyes, and Noemi Dominguez; special friend, Nancy Concepeion; and nieces and nephews, Amanda Hoffman, Christopher Bauerle, Braxton Bauerle, Josh (Keila) Bauerle, Asher Hoffman, Jeremy Marx, Zoe Marx, First Fl. Sgt. Blaine (McKayla) Marx, Brayden Marx, Jaxon Marx, Jennifer Beesley, Bricklin Charlesworth, Gracelin Charlesworth, and Kathleen Marx. Visitation will be from 10-11 am on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
