The Rosary will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Edward Markley, O.S.B. will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
Mrs. O’Steen is survived by her husband of 60 years, Dossey O’Steen, Sr.; a son Dossey O’Steen, Jr. of Florence; a daughter Mary Sue Skinner (Judson) of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren Claudia O’Steen of Nashville, Alexandra O’Steen, Natalie Henderson, Stacey Henderson Brink (Chris), and Matthew Henderson, all of Florence; Chris Skinner (Jenny) of Orlando, FL, Katie Skinner of Pensacola, FL and Patrick Skinner (Jessica) of Tampa, FL; great-grandchildren Eastlon Brink of Florence and Aiden and Ashlyn Skinner of Orlando, FL. Special friends Faye Tash and Cathleen Thompson.
Mrs. O’Steen was preceded in death by a daughter Sharon Henderson and husband Jim; parents Bill and Mary Keyser and sister Eleanor Federika.
Mrs. O’Steen attended St. Michael’s Catholic Church and enjoyed sketching, painting, and playing tennis.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and family members.
The family would like to thank the Adult Sitters Agency and Hospice of the Shoals.
