Barbara Abbott McBride, 80, of Cherokee, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023. There will be a graveside service on Sunday, October 29th, at 2:00 p.m. at Harris Chapel Cemetery with Rick Collum and grandsons officiating.
Barbara was a native of Burkburnett, Texas and a member of the church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil McBride; parents, J.D. and Faye Abbott; son, Ritchie Nunley; and grandson, Nathan Nunley.
Barbara is survived by her son, Ray Nunley (Lisa); grandchildren, Mandy Johnson (Brent), Justin Nunley (Crystal), Jonathan Nunley (Melissa), Ashley Nunley, and Shea Nunley; and great-grandchildren, Porter, Turner, Bryant, Blake, Lee, Dixie, Waylon, Aaliyah, Kaylee, Koltyn, and Alawna.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
The family expresses special thanks to Southern Care Hospice, especially, Kris, Tammy, and Carmen and to Doctors, Jeremy Thompson and Brad Brown and their staff.
