Graveside service for Austin Langford Ashby, age 65, of Morristown, TN, will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at Blanche Cemetery with Bro. James Strope officiating. Mr. Ashby passed away Thursday morning in Morristown, TN.
He was a native of Lincoln County, the son of the late J.D. and Mary Irene Brown Ashby.
He is survived by his nephew Randy (Melinda) Mitchell of Taft, TN, niece Mary Ann Pirtle of Taft, great-nephew Daniel Levi Mitchell of Ardmore, TN, Megan Theresa Danielle (Josh) Mitchell of Flintville, great-great-nephew Donald Ray Griffin of Flintville. He was preceded in death by sister Shirley Ann Ashby Mitchell.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 12-1 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
