Austin D Olinger, age 87, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022. Austin was born in Greensburg, Kansas to Louise and Virgil A Olinger.
Austin was a graduate of Cal Poly University SLO with a BS in Dairy Manufacturing, worked in quality control manager and milk procurement for a large milk company in southern California for 30 years. He was a devoted member of the masonic lodge for 60 years, the Scottish Rite, and Cahaba and Zenobia Shriners. He was also an Army Veteran. Austin was a dedicated member of Boy Scouts of America and second generation Eagle Scout.
Austin is survived by his wife of 64 1/2 years, Maureen K Olinger; son Mark A Olinger; daughter Kristina M Olinger; granddaughter LT Sara I Pisarski, USCG and grandson Matthew T Pisarski.
Austin was preceded in death by his father Virgil A Olinger and mother Louise Olinger.
A graveside service for Austin will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Valhalla Memory Gardens, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811.
