Mrs. Augusta Ann Clark Mann, age 84, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Tuesday, April 30, at her home following a short illness.
She was born in Ethridge, TN and was the daughter of the late Alma Hargett Clark and Edward Wilbur Clark and the widow of the late Eldred Lee Mann. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Edward Mann.
Mrs. Mann was a graduate of Ward Belmont and graduated from Auburn University in 1948. Mrs. Mann and her husband owned and operated Lawrenceburg Steam Laundry, and she later was employed at First National Bank.
A member of First Baptist Church, she enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, gardening, and golf.
Mrs. Mann is survived by three sons – Lee (Margie) and Steve (Tina) Mann of Lawrenceburg and Rick (Lisa) Mann of Powell, TN; nine grandchildren – Amanda Land, Keely Story, Wynn Gooch, Courtney Magee, Nick Mann, Shannon Mann, Christopher Mann, Leigh Ann Mann, and Lauren Mann; eight great-grandchildren; and special family members Sherri Mann and Coni Mann. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday May 3, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home, and the funeral will be Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Neal Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Vanlandingham officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lawrence County Public Library.

I just received your letter to my mom. My mom ,Gerry Walker Wright , died in April too. Thank you for the brief note to my mom. Your mom and my mom are probably having a great time catching up on the latest news and sharing wonderful stories from the past. up in Heaven. Sorry for your loss but I know our moms are getting reconnected and enjoying their time together. I remember lots of fun times in Huntsville and Lawrenceburg.
