Audrey Willis Watts, 93, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Generations of Red Bay. She was born in Bexar, Alabama to William Marvin and Mary Wilson Crowder. She married Clois Willis in 1947. Audrey and Clois worked in North Chicago, Ill. for John Manvill for 20 years. Audrey worked for U.S. Envelope for 16 years and then worked at Blue Bell in Red Bay, Al. for 16 years. She married Edward Watts in 1995. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Red Bay, AL.
She is survived by one sister Elinor McCollister and a sister-in-law Elois Crowder and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Donnis Willis, who was killed in Vietnam in 1969, 3- Sisters- Willard Brown, Wilma Funderburk and Verlon Culver, 3- Brothers- W.T. Crowder (Deanna), Doyle Ray Crowder and Eldridge Crowder.
Funeral services will be Sunday, March 26, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL. with Bro. Mike Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 26, from 1-2 P.M. at Deaton Funeral Home Red Bay, Al.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Funderburk, Scottie Funderburk, Stephen Funderburk, Rickie McCollister, Jason Brewer, Gage Brewer.
