Audrey “Sue” Hallmark, 94, of Mt. Hope passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at her son’s residence. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM till 2:00 PM on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Roger Houston officiating. Burial will be in Fergason Cemetery.
Born July 17, 1928 to John and Johnnie Zills, Sue loved her grandchildren and great grands and never missed an opportunity to help them. She was a longtime member of New Zion Baptist Church. Sue loved attending the Hatton Senior Center for many years.
Survivors include her son; Keith Hallmark (Anna), three grandchildren; Jenny Dutton (Joe), Derick Hallmark (Hayley) and Yulia Gileva, eight great grandchildren; Tyler Hallmark, Audrey Dutton, Caitlin Hallmark, Avery Dutton, Virginia Hallmark, Aliyah Hallmark, Olivia Roden and Hank Hallmark, her sister-n-law; Blanche Zills, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, who she loved dearly
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; R.C. Hallmark, her granddaughter; Nicole Hallmark, six siblings; Rayburn “Buddy” Zills, Bobby Zills, Billy Zills, Nina Randolph, Ross Zills and Vernon Zills, and her sister-n-law; Ethel Bradford.
Pallbearers will be Joe Dutton, Derick Hallmark, Tyler Hallmark, family and friends
The family extends special thanks to Hospice of the Valley, Autumn, Gary and Sheneka, Summer and Brittney.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Hospice of the Valley.
