Audrey Hogan Tomlinson, 72, of Danville, Alabama, a loving, caring, giving, and unselfish wife, mother, grandmother left behind pain and suffering on May 1, 2015 to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Mrs. Tomlinson was a member of First Baptist Church, Hartselle.
Mrs. Tomlinson was born in Danville on December 1, 1942 to Charlie W. and Lavene Holladay Hogan.
Mrs. Tomlinson retired from the Morgan County School System after almost 25 years, serving at Danville and Sparkman Elementary, working with the special needs students.
She enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening, growing flowers, cross stitching, and traveling.
Mrs. Tomlinson was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband of nearly 52 years, Dr. Don Tomlinson, Danville; sons Jay Tomlinson, Danville; Jeff Tomlinson, Tupelo, MS; and grandsons, Justin and Christian Tomlinson, Danville.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Peck Funeral Home, Hartselle. Dr. Scotty Hogan will officiate the funeral services on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 10:30am at Peck Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Friendship Baptist Church, Danville.
Pallbearers are Justin Tomlinson, Christian Tomlinson, Lamar Kelsoe, Buren Holladay, Kyle Holladay, and Charles Quattlebaum.
