Aubrey Neal Harwell, Sr., 71, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. He was a member of the Iuka Church of Christ, where he was a song leader and Sunday School teacher. He was an U.S. Army veteran, and was retired from PCA after many years of dedicated service. After retirement, he worked for ACS in Dothan, AL part time. He was on the TCEPA Board of Directors, and well as the Tennessee River Federal Credit Union Board of Directors. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA. He was an outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, and watching all kinds of sports. He loved his Lord, his family whom he was very proud of, and his country. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 PM on Monday, March 2 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka. Services will be officiated by Lance Foster. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Janeva Dodd Harwell of Iuka; 2 sons – Aubrey Neal Harwell, Jr. (Pam) of Atlanta, GA and David Edward Harwell of Miami Beach, FL; 1 daughter – Dana Harwell Bonds (Tommy) of Iuka; 1 brother – Glen Harwell (Jamie) of Helena, Montana; 2 grandchildren – Anna Claire Harwell and Colin Allen Bonds, both of Iuka; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Edwin and Lena Rose Harwell; and his brother, Robert “Bob” Harwell.
