MUSCLE SHOALS-Attorney General Steve Marshall announced the indictment of a
Florence man on four counts of capital murder. Travis Eric Fallows, 35, was served with
the indictment against him on Wednesday and is being held without bail pending the
resolution of this case.
Following an investigation by the Attorney General’s Investigations Division and the
Muscle Shoals Police Department, Attorney General Marshall’s Criminal Trials Division
presented evidence to a Colbert County grand jury on July 31, 2024, resulting in this
indictment. Specifically, the indictment charges Fallows with one count of capital murder
for the deaths of two or more persons and three individual counts of capital murder for
the January 2015 shooting deaths of Gary Baskins, Kayla Glover, and Kayla Glover’s
unborn child, while they were inside a vehicle.
If convicted, Fallows faces the death penalty or a sentence of life imprisonment without
the possibility of parole.
No further information about the investigation or the alleged crime in this case may be
released at this time as this is an ongoing investigation.
An indictment is merely an accusation. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until
proven guilty.
