ATHENS-One suspect has been arrested on a waRrant for theft by deception. Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson issued a statement regarding this case today, Janaury 13:
“Jacqueline Williams was arrested yesterday on a 2013 warrant for theft of property 2nd by deception.
Williams had leased a TV valued at $599.87 from Rent a Center in November of 2013. She did not pay for the TV. The victim in this case obtained the warrant.
Williams was booked at the police department and transferred to the county jail.”
