ATHENS – The Accounting Program at Athens State University has been included in a Top 50 listing of online accounting programs in the United States according to Online Accounting Degrees, a web-based publication. The institution was ranked 16th in the nation in article that compared tuition costs, career services, graduation rate, class size, students enrolled in the major program, and related majors.
The article states that it can be difficult to sift through the myriad of options available for online learners. “Depending on the flexibility you need in your schedule and how quickly you want to complete your degree, you might find one choice significantly more appealing than another. At the same time, there are a lot of online colleges out there that don’t deliver what they promise.”
The goal of Online Accounting Degrees is to make a student’s search easier by narrowing down the choices to a selection of the best online accounting schools in the nation.
