ATHENS– The Livingston Concert Lecture Series of Athens State University will present an evening of music with Jil Chambless and Scooter Muse. This chamber concert will be held on Thursday, January 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the parlor of historic Founders Hall on the Athens State campus.
Two current members of the band Henri’s Notions, the longest performing Celtic band in the Southeastern United States (more than 30 years), Jil Chambless and Scooter Muse have also performed frequently in a trio with Scottish singer Ed Miller at many festivals throughout the US and Scotland. For many years Jil and Scooter have been fortunate to work alongside many of the finest artists in Celtic Music, resulting in many spontaneous collaborations.
There is no charge for this concert and the public is invited.
