ATHENS-Onlate Tuesday, September 10Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson released information regrarding an armed robbery in Athens and he is asking anoyone with information to come forward:
“On MondayNight, September 9 the police department received a call of a robbery at Game Stop on US 72.
When officers arrived the victim told officers 2 men entered the business and demanded money. One of the males was described as a black male, 5’10”, 200 pounds with a dark complexion wearing a black hoodie, black pants and white shoes. The second male was described as a white male wearing a light gray hoodie, black pants and black shoes. Both males were in there 20’s and armed with armed with hand guns. The robbery occurred around 8:20. There were no injuries.
