ATHENS-Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson has asked for the public’s help in identifying the suspects who broke into the ATM machine at the PNC Bank in Athens:
“This morning shortly after 4:30 the police department was notified of an alarm at PNC Bank on US 72 east. When officers arrived they found the ATM had been broken into and a stolen truck from Decatur had also been abandoned in the parking lot. Officers canvased the area however were unable to locate the offenders. I have attached 2 photos of the suspects from the bank’s security system. We’re asking anyone with information to contact the Athens Police department at 256-233-8700.”
