ATHENS-On October 16, 2024, the Athens Police Department received a report of possible child abuse of a seven (7) year child. The child had received medical treatment for their injuries, but were not serious.
Devin Rhys Pike
Sergeant Kelley Fussell conducted an investigation and determined that the child’s injuries were caused by the child’s father.
On October 28, 2024, Devin Rhys Pike (age 24), of Athens, Alabama, was arrested and booked for Willful Abuse of a Child Under 18 Years of Age.
At this time, Pike is being held at the Limestone Jail County, pending a bond hearing.
