Athens Man Arrested Charged With Domestic Violence Assault 2nd Degree

ATHENS-Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson released a statement concerning the arrest of a suspect on Friday, December 15 who was arrested on Domestic Abuse charges:

“Antonio Vallalobos was arrested early on the morning of Friday, December 15 for domestic violence assault 2nd degree.

Late last night the police department received a call to the Athens Limestone Emergency Room about an assault. Officer Jeff Gentilcore talked with a 20 year old female victim. The victim told Gentilcore her boyfriend came home from work and started drinking. An argument later started that resulted in the victim having a broken bone in her hand and a fracture to the inside of her eye socket.

A short time later Sgt. Brandon Turner and Gentilcore located Vallalobos at his residence on Dover Street and arrested him.

Vallalobos was booked at the police department and transported to the county jail.”
