ATHENS – Patrons will have the opportunity to enjoy a night full of shopping, good food, and upbeat Soul & Funk music with Trick Zipper this Friday [July, 28 2023] during Athens Main Street’s fourth Fridays After Five event.
The trip to downtown Athens will be well worth it for the entertainment, dining, and shopping options that will be available for this event.
Patrons will have the opportunity to enjoy the Square Arts and Entertainment District of downtown. Attendees of the event are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and visit the eastside of the Limestone County Courthouse to enjoy the live music from Trick Zipper beginning at 7 p.m.
There will also be several children activities offered on Washington Street as a part of the Fridays After Five event. These activities are presented by T-Mobile, First Metro Bank, Limestone Foster Parents Association, and Limestone County Young 
Farmers Touch a Tractor.
Food trucks scheduled to be in attendance are Ramona J’s, Touchdown Wings, New South Hotdog, Hattie Mae’s, Get Loaded, Sandman Sandmaches, Southern Wagyu, Old Havana Cafe’, Taste of Maine, Teresita’s Tamales, Rocket City Popperz, Happi Pappi, Rita’s Italian Ice, Snobiz, and Granny B’s Sweet Treats.
