Arvilla Linton Lambert, 80, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Monday, October 05, 2015, at Mississippi Care Center in Corinth, MS. She was a good Christian woman, and a loving mother and grandmother with a charitable and giving heart. She loved to sing, and adored her grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Tuesday, October 6 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to service time. It will be officiated by Bro. T.E. Davis and Bro. Jack Whitley, Jr. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by 3 sons – Lawrence Lambert (Nancy) of Glen, MS; Tony Lambert (Kristy) of Cloverdale, AL; and Micah Lambert (Ginger) of Tupelo, MS; 2 daughters – Melissa Ray of Tuscumbia, AL and Sharon Butler (Duane) of Corinth, MS; 1 sister – Gay Nell Williams of Cairo, MS; 1 brother in law – James Moore of Hernando, MS; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Linton; the father of her children, George Lambert; two brothers, Homer “Dut” Linton and Grady “Bunk” Linton; three sisters – Johnnie Randolph, Nona Moore, Jewel Linton; and three infant siblings.
