arvillaArvilla Gail Carlisle, 60, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Corinth, MS. Ms. Arvilla loved to play the piano and was very gifted in doing so. She loved to go shopping, and has even been known to sit in parking lots, just to watch people. Arvilla also enjoyed cooking and going out to eat, just to try new things. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed her grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS. The funeral service is Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Cutshall Funeral home Chapel in Iuka, MS. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. She is survived by her son, Nelson Lambert of Burnsville; daughter, Samantha McDuffy of Burnsville; sister, Carolyn Davis of Iuka; grandchildren Megan Nunley of Rienzi and Justin Lambert of Dallas, TX and great-grandchild Alexandria Nunley of Rienzi, MS She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Carlisle and her parents William Nelson Honeycutt and Donna Alice Whitaker Honeycutt. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund, in Arvilla’s name, has been set in place at First National Bank (Burnsville) to help offset funeral expenses.
