Arvie Lee Smith, 87 of Logan, passed away on July 15, 2018 at home surrounded by her family.
Arvie was born on May 18, 1931 in Cullman. She was a lifelong member of New Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 6-8pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1pm at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Logan. Brother Shannon Caudle will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Michael (Becky) Marks, Phillip (Carrie) Marks and Marty Marks; daughter, Kathy (Jackie) Caudle; sisters, Shirley (Charles) Norman and Janice (Kenneth) Pratt; sister in law, Lorene Waldrep; grandchildren, Brian Marks, Heath Marks, Kristy Bryant, Rodney Marks, Angela Marks, Shannon Caudle, Shane Caudle, Dusty Scott, Cain Marks, Alisha Cobb, Erica Ball, Justin Marks, Jordan Marks, Gracie Marks, Landon Marks, Leslie Marks and Lana Trussell; great grandchildren, Cade, Olivia, Scout, Skylan, Dallas, Jayden, Parker, Marlee, Avery, Kaleb, Rachel, Jacob, Isaac, Hannah, Alivia, Brody, Ben, Alex, Savannah, Drew, Brooke, Lexi, Zoe, Montana, Tala, Lawson and Grayson; and great-great grandchildren, Knox, Leeland, Easton, Rydge and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Hugh Lee Marks; parents, Oliver and Lessie Waldrep, sons, Larry Marks and Roger Marks; brother, Rudolph Waldrep; grandson, Milze Hart
