Arthur Louis “Boogie” Keenum, Jr., 61, Leighton, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. Visitation will be Friday, September 29, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Saturday, September 30, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Casey Hagle officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Boogie was a lifelong resident of the Shoals. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ann Keenum; granddaughter, Savannah Keenum; brothers, Jimmy, Lee, and Bo Keenum; and sisters, Joyce Arnold, Tina Cox, Elizabeth “Libby” Keenum, and Darlene Vinson.
Boogie is survived by his children, Danny Keenum (Sherry) and Sabrina McCollum (Bucky); brothers, Gary Keenum (Marla), Michael Keenum (Pam), Randy Keenum (Daisy), and Johnny Keenum; sisters, Mary Vinson, Gloria Barnett, and Rose Evans; grandchildren, Ricky Freemon, Autumn Keenum, Jared Keenum, Brent Spalding, Brandon Spalding, Alyssa Summers (Devin), and Colby McCollum; and great-grandchildren, Walker Summers, Lettie Spalding and Cyrus Spalding.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
