Arthur Dewey Hanson, age 70, of Winfield, AL, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at DCH Tuscaloosa. He was born on June 06,1954 to Author J. Hanson and Opal Lou Baker Hanson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2 pm in the chapel with Bro. Ric Chambless officiating. The burial will be at Middle Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Authur and Opal Hanson; brother, Sam Hanson; daughter, Samantha Hanson; granddaughter, Angel Garcia.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Kim Hanson; sons, Matthew Hanson, Jimmy Hanson, Andy Hanson; siblings, James Hanson, George Hanson, Charles Hanson, Shirley Housh, Bertie Parker, Gege Stidham; grandchildren, Christopher Hanson, Jeremia Hanson, Isaiah Garcia, Isabella Rojas, Angelia Hanson, Haley Hanson; a host nieces, nephews and friends.
